Plan to implement the selective collection of the OFMSW
 

With the publication of Law 8/2008, of 10th July, concerning the financing of waste management infrastructures and waste disposal taxes, and Law 9/2008, of 10 July, amending Law 6/1993, of 15 July, regulating waste, the obligation of local authorities in Catalonia to carry out the selective collection of the OFMSW (Organic Fraction of Municipal Solid Waste) is determined in accordance with an implementation plan.

This Plan to Implement the Selective Collection of the OFMSW must be presented to the ARC for approval before 9th August 2009.

In order to simplify the presentation of the Plans, the ARC has developed a computer application in the waste documentation system (SDR) environment concerning the current state of selective collection of the OFMSW. In order to access it, the code and password sent by letter to all municipalities in Catalonia must be used.
