Collection centres

Collection centres are facilities that take in segregated municipal waste, specifically small amounts of hazardous waste (eg, paint, solvents, batteries...), bulky waste (eg furniture, household appliances...), plants, rubble, and other fractions that can be segregated and utilised.

Through collection centres, enable higher levels of selective collection to be achieved and also supports the municipal waste collection service.

Collection centres have established opening times and staff on hand to inform users and ensure proper management of the incoming waste.
