What we can take to a collection centre

Following segregation, we can leave different types of municipal waste at collection centres for which there is no collection system established or specific containers on the streets.

Alongside these facilities, there are also containers for paper and cardboard, glass and light packaging.

We can therefore take the following to collection centres:

Hazardous municipal waste

 

Tyres

 

Fluorescent lamps and mercury vapour lamps

  Batteries
  Solvents
 

Paints and varnishes

 

Cell batteries

 

Household appliances containing hazardous substances

 

Used mineral oils

Ordinary municipal waste

Paper and cardboard

Glass

Light packaging

Plastics

Scrap and metal

Textiles

Used vegetable oils

Whole cava bottles

Bulky municipal waste

Furniture etc.

Household appliances that do not contain hazardous substances

Electronic scrap (computers, small household appliances, electronic devices...)

Other municipal waste

Wood

Cuttings from pruning or gardening waste

Rubble and small building waste

 

You cannot take

Mixed materials

Organic materials (except dry bread)

Large amounts of industrial waste or waste from production processes, that must be managed by private waste managers authorised by the Waste Agency of Catalonia.

Explosive materials

Radioactive waste

Sanitary waste
