 Model C - Small quantities
Model C - Small quantities
For producers or holders of waste in authorised evaluation plants
Documentation to be used:
  Acceptance sheet (FA)
The Acceptance sheet (FA) is the standard agreement that has to be signed for each waste between the waste producer or holder and the chosen waste management enterprise.
  Itinerant consignment note (FI)
The Itinerant consignment note (FI) is the waste transport document that allows itinerant collection in the same vehicle from up two twenty waste producers or holders
  Waste reception certificate (JRR)
The waste reception certificate (JRR) is the remittance that the waste management enterprise will give on receiving amounts smaller than those specified in annex 1 not documented with an FS.
Waste to be managed according to this model:

  • Transport in amounts smaller than those specified in annexe 1, except for paper/cardboard, scrap, plastic, glass or olive husks.
Process:

This management model is subdivided into four parts, depending on the type of waste, its destination and the type of collection. However, the first five steps are common to all four.

The producer or holder must:

1 Be on the Register of producers of industrial waste or have a waste producer code.

2 Characterise the waste, if necessary, through a laboratory certified for determining the characteristics of the waste.

3 Code their waste according to the European waste catalogue (CER).

4 Determine the most ideal destination and the characterisation according to the Catalonian waste catalogue (CRC). (The CRC still holds concerning the determination of management routes, and you will also find the best destination by consulting the European waste catalogue (CER) where the equivalencies have been made)

5 Seek an authorised waste manager that can give it this treatment.

6 The documentation to be used is the following:

MODEL C1)

It is NOT necessary to establish an Acceptance sheet for the transport, it is possible to use one's own vehicle (not authorised) and, when delivering the waste to the waste manager, they will give the producer a waste reception certificate.

MODEL C2)
For all waste intended for evaluation plants and the waste in annexe 2 intended for waste treatment and disposal plants, within the framework of itinerant collection. It is NOT necessary to establish an Acceptance sheet, the transport must be authorised and the Itinerant consignment note must be used.

MODEL C3)
For all waste not included in annexe 2 intended for waste treatment and disposal plants, with individual transport, an Acceptance sheet must be established, for the transport it is possible to use one's own vehicle (not authorised) and when delivering the waste to the waste manager, they will give the producer a waste reception certificate.

MODEL C4)
