| The producer or holder must:
Be on the Register of producers of industrial waste or have a waste producer code.
Characterise the waste, if necessary, through a laboratory certified for determining the characteristics of the waste.
Code their waste according to the European waste catalogue (CER).
Determine the most ideal destination and the characterisation according to the Catalonian waste catalogue (CRC). (The CRC still holds concerning the determination of management routes, and you will also find the best destination by consulting the European waste catalogue (CER) where the equivalencies have been made)
Look for a waste manager in the General register of waste management enterprises of Catalonia that might give such an evaluation.
Contact them and complete an FA.
Take them to the offices of the Agència de Residus de Catalunya or the Territorial services of the Department of the Environment and Housing for stamping.
Contract a waste transporter from the Register of waste transporters.
Establish an FS for each waste transport effected and demand the stamped copy from the transporter and the manager as a guarantee that the dealing has been performed correctly or check that the collection is performed with the corresponding FI and require the official collection remittance.
