The following categories have been defined for participating in the award:
For PRODUCTS: Category A
 

The object of category A is any recycled/recyclable commercialised product presented by the company that manufactures or distributes it in Catalonia, or by its professional designer.

A total 24 candidatures were presented in this category:

For PROJECTS: Category B
 

The object of category B is any recycled/recyclable product project that has been made by individuals, companies or other institutions in Catalonia.

A total 43 candidatures were presented in this category:

For STRATEGIES: Category C
 

The object of category C is any initiative, policy, process, system or practice intended to nurture recycling and/or recyclability that has been conceived by individuals, companies or other institutions in Catalonia.

A total 7 candidatures were presented in this category:

Candidatures presented in previous editions of these awards are excluded.

This third edition received a total 81 candidatures of which 74 entered the competition.
