On the past Wednesday 9th March 2005 at 12 p.m., the Rt. Hon. Minister of the Department of the Environment and Housing, Mr. Salvador Milà, presided the award-giving ceremony of the “Award 2005 Design for recycling: recycled/recyclable product” given by the Centre català del reciclatge (CCR) of the Agència de Residus de Catalunya of the Department of the Environment and Housing of the Generalitat, Government of Catalonia.

The ceremony was held within the International Energy and Environment Exhibition (Saló Internacional de l’Energia i el Medi Ambient) ECOMED POLLUTEC, and was attended by the members of the jury of the awards, Mr. Joan Ras as president of the Fira de Barcelona and Mr. Manel Hernández as director of the Agència de Residus de Catalunya.

In this third edition of the awards, 74 of the 81 candidatures presented entered the competition, and the jury decided to reward three candidatures (one for each category) and give two special mentions to product category A.
