1st Meeting on municipal waste prevention (2003)
Coinciding with first anniversary of the of the Municipal waste prevention agreement in Catalonia and with the publication by the European Commission of the draft strategy on waste prevention and recycling, on the past 8th July 2003, the 1st Meeting on municipal waste prevention was held in the auditorium of the Palau de Mar in Barcelona. The Centre català del reciclatge (CCR) organised the meeting for public and private entities in Catalonia, to enable information to be exchanged on national and international pioneering experiences aimed at preventing municipal waste.
