This year the Centre català del reciclatge (CCR) is organising the BUY RECYCLED seminar for those behind the Green schools programme, in order to promote the adoption of environmental criteria, especially concerning recycling and recyclability, in their buys. The aim of the seminar is to facilitate the buy of recycled and recyclable products in the Catalan green schools, by reporting the instruments for their acquisition, the products available on the market and real experiences started by different entities in Catalonia.
The Green schools programme arises from the Environmental Education Service of the Directorate General for Environmental Policies and Sustainability of the Department of the Environment and Housing of the Generalitat, Government of Catalonia, and is intended to promote the environmentalisation of Catalan schools.
