This year, the Centre català del reciclatge (CCR), with the collaboration of ANGED (National Association of Large Distribution Companies) and CEDAC (Council of Foodstuff Distributor Companies of Catalonia), has organised the BUY RECYCLED seminar, aimed at the heads of distribution companies in order to promote the adoption of environmental criteria, especially concerning recycling and recyclability, in their buys. This initiative lies within the series of actions aimed at improving the environmental management of distribution companies, at nurturing the recycled product market so that it might achieve levels of scale economy equivalent to conventional products.
