| The content and structure
of the IPS Form is based on that described in Annex II
of RD 9/2005, although there are certain particular characteristics.
Once the file has been downloaded to the
computer and saved, the appropriate sections must be completed,
in particular, all the fields without color.
The content of the IPS is structured into different sections
(general data, characterisation of materials, of products,
of managed wastes, characterisation of different storage
systems for substances, characterisation of production
areas and information referring to the historical use
of the site), as indicated in Annex II of RD 9/2005.
The IPS Form document consists of a model IPS form, where
the information is entered into the fields marked in grey,
by marking the corresponding boxes, selecting an option
from a pop-up list or entering the data directly, in either
text or numeric form.
Sections 2, 3 and 4 of the form are used to characterize
materials, products and general wastes. The IPS form document
allows the entry of 6 items in each section. In order
to include more items, the corresponding file (2-Matèries
Primeres.doc, 3-Productes.doc, 4-Residus.doc) must be
downloaded, completed and printed as many times as necessary
to characterize all the elements. These sheets should
then be incorporated into the appropriate section of the
document.
Sections 5 and 6 are used to characterize the different
storage and production areas. The IPS Form document allows
the entry of 3 items per section. In order to enter more
items, the corresponding form (5.1-Emmagatzematge Superficial.doc,
5.2-Dipòsit Superficial.doc, 5.3-Dipòsit
soterrat.doc, 6-Activitat Productiva) should be downloaded,
completed and printed out as many times as necessary to
characterize all the items. These sheets should then be
incorporated into the appropriate section of the document.
Section 8 contains the plans and must include the plans
and sketches indicated and all maps that are considered
relevant (on paper). Likewise, in Section 9 all photographs
that are considered useful supporting material for the
report should be attached.
At the end of each section of the Form there is a brief
explanation of all of the information fields.
The annexes for the IPS Form can be found in the document
IPS Annexes, in PDF format, and contain the different
tables referenced inside the IPS, from which a value can
be chosen for certain fields.
