The aim of the deconstruction manual is to give a rapid view of the actions involved in dismantling a construction, enabling a high level of recovery and use of the materials, in order to use them in new works. Therefore, the general and particular criteria are given that must be borne in mind in the material performance of the deconstruction work, to make them compatible with the essential safety of the process and respect for the environment. The deconstruction model proposed breaks down the demolition of a building into the following co-ordinated actions:
1. Recovery of architectural elements
2. Recovery of contaminated materials
3. Recovery of recyclable materials
4. Recovery of stone materials
