Controlled soil and rubble lanfills are installations for the controlled disposal of waste on the surface. In a similar way to the rest of the classes into which the deposits are classified, there are specific criteria for preparing the packagings, draining the leaches, conditions of operation, sealing and controls on the soil and rubble deposits after sealing.
In Decree 1/1997 of 7th January, concerning the disposal of waste in controlled tip points, all of the technical and administrative conditions are regulated that must be fulfilled in all controlled waste deposits, and specifically those for soil and demolition and construction waste.
