Cattle manure management programme

On 23rd December 1996, the Board of Management approved the cattle manure management programme.

This programme establishes the basic line for rationalising the management of this kind of waste. Therefore, it is planned to balance the generation of waste organic products in line with crop extractions, in order to avoid the accumulation in the soil of substances that might harm agricultural productivity and avoid the contamination of wastes by excessive nitrogen and phosphorus.
