Functions
 The Organic Material Management Department depends on the Municipal Area and has assigned the following functions:
  • Management of municipal waste organic fraction: collaboration in planning, organising and following up on selective waste collection. Construction and follow-up of organic waste treatment infrastructures.
  • Management of cattle manure (liquid pig manure, solid manure and hen droppings): regional plan planning and follow-up and follow-up of installations.
  • Energy evaluation: follow-up of installations intended for municipal waste treatment.
  • Preparation of technical reports for the administrative authorisation of treatment installations, technical studies and agreements aimed at planning the management and promotion of infrastructures and technical support for the preparation of regulations for waste management organisation.
