Functions
 The Selective Waste Collection and Packing Department depends on the Municipal Area and develops the following functions:
  • To nurture the reduction of selective municipal waste collection.
  • To manage financial aids (containers for the selective waste collection of glass, paper and cardboard and light packing, and for implementing tip points).
  • To apply Law 11/1997 on packing and packing waste in Catalonia (follow-up of Integrated Management Systems, develop packing selection, develop systems for landfill, return and restoration, control of the business prevention plans).
