Functions
 The Information Systems Department depends on the Information and Participation Area and develops the following functions:
  • Design, introduction and operation of the computer systems of the Agència de Residus de Catalunya.
  • Give support to the development of new information technologies in waste management.
  • Maintenance of the internet supports and development of the Agencia de Residus de Catalunya intranet.
  • Control of the composition and formal updating of all the official registers of the Agència de Residus de Catalunya (producers, transporters and waste managers).
  • Draw up specific documentation, particularly geographical, on waste management.
