Functions
 The Inspection and Control Department depends on the Industrial Area and develops the following functions:
  • Control of waste producers.
  • Control of waste managers.
  • Control of waste transpoters
  • Evaluation and possible action in the presentation of claims, notifications, etc. presented by various individuals, businesses and organisations.
  • Sample-taking for characterising the wastes.
  • Immediate action in the event of emergencies caused by industrial waste, in co-ordination with the Emergency Centre of Catalonia (CECAT).
